Why You Should Join QDMA?
As you already know, QDMA stresses the promotion of quality deer, quality deer habitat, along with quality deer hunters. The QDMA promotes sustainable, high quality deer populations, wildlife habitats, and ethical hunting experiences through education, research, and management in the partnership with hunters, landowners, natural resource professionals, and the public.
Today the QDMA has 50,000 members, with over 180 Branches in more then 34 states actively promoting QDM and the QDMA in their areas and holding educational and social events to unite like minded sportsmen in this common goal.
Many challenges face deer hunters and managers today. Whitetail populations have skyrocketed, hunter numbers have declined, hunter attitudes have changed, society’s respect for deer has declined and diseases have threatened some herds. The QDMA has faced each new challenge head on and will continue to do so while pursuing our mission to become the most influential and effective whitetail conservation organization in the world. To accomplish this goal, the QDMA needs your support!

Want to help change deer hunting in your local area?
Become involved with the Blue Water branch today!
The Blue Water branch is a group of members who are interested in promoting the science and philosophy of QDM and the QDMA. Our Branch is the most efficient way in organizing a group of hunters with the same principles, and allowing them to increase others hunter’s knowledge and interest in the same field. QDMA Branches are truly the “Backbone” of this organization.
We will strive to do a variety of different activities such as educational events (typically a free event) where Wildlife Biologists, Habitat Experts, or the trained QDMA Regional Director talk about food plots, forestry, improving native vegetation, using game cameras, collecting data, aging deer, kid’s days, hunter safety programs, feed the hungry locally or numerous other topics.
The Blue Water branch will also hold fund raising social events such as raffles, banquets, sporting clay shoots or dinner dances. Our fund raising events have a membership included in the ticket price so the new members recruited at our events can join the thousands of others who are committed to ethical hunting, sound deer management and preservation of our hunting heritage.
Hopefully you will join us at one of the up coming events we are currently planning. We will try to keep you informed about those events in a timely fashion so that you too can plan on attending and supporting better deer management in the local area.
With your support the QDMA will continue to shape the future of Whitetail hunting and management to ensure a bright future for both our hunting heritage and North America’s most popular big game animal.
